Ms Jovia Mutesi, hailing from the 'Baise Menha' clan of Bugweri district, will assume this prestigious role after completing the traditional ceremonies. Ms Jovia Mutesi is the daughter of Mr Stanley Bayoole, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Namisindwa district. Her family has a strong political background, with her father previously serving as an influential member of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) in Busoga. Her paternal aunt, Ms Sarah Namumbya, served as the Mayuge District Woman representative, and her uncle, Richard Kudeeba, was a long-serving electoral commissioner of the FDC.

Early Life and Education 

While the exact date of Ms Mutesi's birth remains undisclosed, she is believed to be around 30 years old. She completed her secondary education at Mt St Mary's College Namagunga, a renowned institution in Uganda.
