Kabarole district security agencies have reportedly kicked off inquiries into unidentified letters by suspected Allied Democratic Forces insurgents imperiling to raid schools and tea farms in the district.

The letter thrown the previous week by unidentified individuals cautioned of imminent raids on various towns, schools, and tea plantations in Kabarole.

" We are together with Uganda. We, the Allied Democratic Forces military, wish to notify the general public of Uganda that we are resolved to enforce our ghastly raid, and we are coming to clear everything, comprising people. We accomplished Mpondwe School in Kasese District, and soon, we are clambering to Kabarole in schools like Busolo, Kiamara, Tamteco Company, Mpanga Company, and Kaswa Centre. We will come at precisely 3 am to clean every corner with no mercy, jokes, favor or fear, " the pamphlets in Kiswahili read.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, police spokesman, Fred Enanga noted that security has begun inquiries into the unidentified handouts which have induced panic among residents in Kabarole.

" We wish to assure the societies of our existence and visibility as joint security operatives. We call upon societies that in case they pursue anything distrustful or threatening to phone the police or any other security agency, " Enanga noted.

He justified that as part of inquiries, security has publicized letters for locals to assist them recognize the handwriting and style in the unspecified letters to assist arrest the offenders behind the threatening letters.

" We have carried out engagements with administrators of the tea plants around the region. We have had mobilization and expansive cognition meetings with societies and school managers. " 

However, the police spokesman cautioned the letter could have been thrown by residents to induce panic.

" We want them to understand some of these unidentified threats may not necessarily be from Allied Democratic Forces but instead other fearmongers within the society who want to cause panic. "
