Ayebare Restytuta has been crowned Miss Tourism Ankole in the highly anticipated regional pageant held in Mbarara. The event took place at the prestigious Las Vegas Hotel on Saturday, marking the culmination of a series of competitions and activities.
Before being crowned Miss Tourism Ankole, Ayebare had already gained recognition as she was voted Miss Popularity Ankole in the Miss Tourism pageant. Her win as the regional tourism queen is an affirmation of her appeal and popularity among the residents of Ankole.

During the grand finale, Ayebare competed against several other outstanding contestants. Kulabako Sharidah emerged as the first runner-up, while Ainomujuni Hopkins secured the position of second runner-up. Their strong performances and charm earned them well-deserved recognition in the pageant.
As the newly crowned Miss Tourism Ankole, Ayebare will represent the Ankole region in the upcoming Miss Tourism grand finale. The grand finale is scheduled to take place on September 9th at the prestigious Kampala Serena Hotel. This event promises to be a celebration of beauty and culture as representatives from various regions compete for the Miss Tourism crown.
This year's Miss Tourism Beauty Pageant will be held under the theme "Greening Tourism." Currently, the Miss Tourism crown is held by Sydney Nabulya, the Buganda beauty queen who was crowned Miss Tourism 2022. Sydney's reign as Miss Tourism has been remarkable, and she has been a passionate advocate for promoting tourism in Uganda.
